About donebynie
My Story
If you ask my mom, since the day I was born she knew I was going to become a hair stylist. I was always playing with my sisters, or my Barbie's, hair. It's a way for me to express my art, while also making people feel their upmost best. After doing 2 years of Cosmetology school in high school, I finally became licensed at 18 years old and have been doing this ever since. I have worked in salons in New Paltz, NY, Colorado Springs, and now in Kingston at Hive with my lovely best friend. I have received extensive training in BELLAMI Hair Extensions, thanks to the loveliest business, Crown Extension Studio, where extensions became a huge passion of mine. I have been with my high school sweetheart, Mike, for 9 years and we have an adorable sweet pup named Georgia. I strive for every guest to feel as comfortable as they would in their own home, and to feel the most beautiful they ever have, while maintaining hair health as that is most important to me.
